March 18th NOT A GOOD DAY!

The day started out good as you can see in the video...but by lunch time things went bad. Today we were on our way to visit Papa in the hospital when we were rear ended with baby Tyler in the car. It wasn't a big impact but they had an ambulance come to check out Tyler and make sure he was okay (so Tyler is only 1month old and was already in his first car accident and ambulance). The paramedics cleared him but wanted us to follow up with his doctor that day. So off we go to the doctor. We are not too worried at this point because it was not a bad accident and the fire dept said our car seat was installed correctly and everyone seemed to think it was all okay and that he would be fine. But while we were waiting to see the doctor we changed Tyler's diaper and their was blood in his stool. So now we are freaking out. The doctor checked him over and said it could be coincidence. So we were just told to watch him and his stools. He did have a few more diapers with a few specks of blood but then in the evening and all overnight he didn't have anymore! So we were very happy with that and will just keep a close eye on him to make sure everything continues to be okay. Needless to say it was not a fun day...but Tyler was so good through it all! We did find out at the doctor (they counted this visit as him one month since we were schedule to go in the next day anyway) that Tyler is now 11lbs 4oz (75th percentile for weight) and 24in (95th percentile for height) and we were told he has a tiny head.

March 17th One Month Old

Here is the only picture we took today...it's a picture of Aunt Katie attempting to do airplane with Tyler...he clearly didn't like it! And man look at those cheeks...they are seriously growing by the day!

Today Tyler's Papa had to have bypass surgery. The surgery went as good as it could have gone but there is still a lot of recovery ahead. Today Tyler is also one month old. Aunt Katie and Uncle B.R. came over and spent the afternoon and evening with me and they even slept over and took the first half of the night taking care of TJ.

Today I spent the day at Grammie's house but she wasn't home...she had to work. But my great grandma got to rock me. I also met my mom's cousins Kristen and Nicole and her boyfriend Evan. But for most of the day I hung out with my Aunt Katie and my cousin Jaden! Today I pretty much slept the entire day away!

March 15th

Grandma and Grandpa babysat me at their house. I was a good boy the whole time...they even took me for a walk! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for a great time!

March 14th

March 13th

Tyler hangs out with cousin Jaden! Jaden just loves Tyler and asks over and over to hold him. He is too cute...he sits right down on the floor and asks for Tyler and then only a few seconds after he holds him Jaden says "done" and goes off to play.

March 10th 3week old update!

Today Tyler is Three weeks old! He is a pretty good baby most of the time but in the past few days he has had some fussy moments as well. He is for sure an alert baby and actually is awake for good portions of the day (sometimes too long). Tyler has started to fight his sleep at times but rocking him does help drift him off to sleep. We think that the times he is fussy is caused by his gas. The doctor seems to think that he is just going through a gassy period right now while his body learns to digest his food. He still sleeps pretty well during the night however TJ is a very noisy sleeper. He is constantly making whimpers, coos or just flat out lets out cries in his sleep. So although he is getting his rest it makes it difficult for us to sleep. Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks he will learn to sleep more soundly. Oh, he is also growing like a weed. He has officially outgrown all newborn clothes. It's too bad because some things he only got to wear once. So overall we are all doing great! A little tired some days but enjoying every moment!

March 4th First Sleep over!

Today Tyler and his Mommy and Daddy went to Grammie and Papa's house. Tyler spent the whole afternoon and evening asleep in his great grandma's arms. Uncle Mikie and Uncle Christopher came to visit too! And thanks to Great Grandma we all had a huge delicious dinner! Then Daddy went home to sleep and Mommy and Tyler spent the night. Mommy and Daddy got their first full night sleep since TJ has arrived! Thank you Grammie and GiGi for taking the night shift! I am so glad he was a good boy for you guys!

March 3rd Tyler is Two weeks old

Tyler is now a whole two weeks old. He had his 2week appointment today! He grew a lot!!! He is now 9lbs 4oz and is 23inches long. He is off the charts for height! Doctor said he looks great and is doing well!
